Lidocaine is a medication used to numb tissue in a specific area. It is also used to treat ventricular tachycardia and to perform nerve blocks. The efficacy profile of lidocaine as a local anesthetic is characterized by a rapid onset of action and intermediate duration of efficacy. Therefore, lidocaine is suitable for infiltration, block, and surface anesthesia.
Lidocaine is volatile ingredient.
Please make sure to cover tightly when not in use, otherwise anesthetic effect can be less.
Please see the following instruction to maximize the anesthetic effect.
1. Apply thick amount of the cream on the treatment area.
2. Cover the skin with the plastic wrap to help absorbing lidocaine into the skin.
3. After 30~60 minutes, remove plastic wrap and the cream as well.
Leave the cream on the skin longer for better result.
Don’t remove the plastic wrap until you feel the numbing effect.
